Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise with DCPS for the 2016-2017 School Year! We are excited to launch this school year with two incredible days of content-based professional development sessions.
Participants will be able to: • Connect with the Framework for Arts Learning through experiences that highlight core themes • Relate the new DCPS Arts curriculum to their current practice and explore opportunities for implementation and connections • Experience key concepts of one unit of study through small group activity, focusing on the structures of the unit design template and dimensions of learning • Introduction to LEAP opportunities and Professional Learning Communities
