Georgina Ardalan is an early childhood educator at J.O. Wilson Elementary School (DCPS). Georgina draws on inspiration from her first career in architecture to create a nurturing and collaborative environment within a thinking culture where teachers and children both question and listen. Her classroom has participated in the Children Are Citizens (CAC) initiative in three iterations. An article on a class project in CAC entitled "Spreading Happiness" was published in the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s journal Young Children. She has participated in WISSIT since the inaugural summer in 2014 and has presented at NAEYC, Project Zero Perspectives, National Network of Schools in Partnership, and Children Are Citizens conferences.
