Participants will be able to: • Describe what research tells us about foundational reading • Describe how DCPS will improve upon foundational reading results through enhancements to Fundations, use of data, curriculum, and new text resources
Participants will be able to: • Understand the vision for and the connection between the DCPS curriculum and LEAP professional development • Create a shared understanding of unit 1 content and assessments • Engage in a text-based discussion in order to unpack the complexities of a core unit 1 text
