Participants will be able to: • Learn how to implement and administer the 6th grade Earth Science Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment • Learn how adaptive testing will help them better measure their students’ progress and identify their instructional needs
Participants will be able to: • Use a centers-based instructional approach to experience a 5E model lesson through the role of a student. • Create their own centers-based lesson appropriate for a one-to-one or one-to-many computer environment. • Collaborate with other teachers to incorporate Techbook and other resources into their unit plans for the upcoming school year.
